Dear “Author” (Yes! You are an author in the making),You and a select number of people are only going to get this invitation:
  • You were an attendee of my Publishing session at the Money Summit last 2011 and you told me that you were interested in Project Author;
  • You’ve attended Project Author 1.0 last December 3, 2011, or the most recent one held May 5, 2012, or
  • You wanted to attend the first Project Author 2 run, but weren’t able to make it because the first class was already fully booked

Either way, you already know about Project Author. So, I’ll get straight to the expected output of Project Author 2: It’s to get that book that’s been in your head and heart,WRITTEN AND PUBLISHED! See your books (yes, maybe you have a book series in you!) promoted and sold on Amazon (and even read on Kindle) and available in National Bookstore and other bookstores. Every one who signs up will have a target towrite, publish and launch his or her book (Unless you plan to write a version of War and Peace, then you are excused :-)).

Sign up now and nourish the “AUTHOR” seed that is planted in your heart. Whether you love to write or you think writing doesn’t love you, at the Project Author course, nowriting expertise is necessary.

Project Author attendees will be personally mentored by me. We will go through 10 mentoring and workshop sessions over a 10 – 12 week period starting September 4, 2012, from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM.

Sessions will be held in Makati (and maybe even Tagaytay, depends on how the class votes on this). You will not only learn and acquire hands-on knowledge on becoming a fulfilled published author, but we’ll all have fun as well. The class will be limited in size (10 to 12 at most) to ensure manageability of the class.

Here are some of the sessions and topics that we’ll cover.

  1. Discovering and developing the author in you. The Author’s Mindset.
  2. Discovering your voice as an author.
  3. Publication planning session – how to write one book every year for the rest ofyour life, and secrets that one of the most successful leadership author’s shared with me. (Plus – the “As told to” option. Be an author by hiring a writeroption discussion/consultation.)
  4. Getting rid of the dreaded “block” – Writer’s block? No problem. In this session, we’ll show you how to become a writing faucet! Know the secrets of prolific author, Tony Buzan, and how he’s been able to publish over 100 books to his name.
  5. The Author as Marketer – Secrets that the most successful tandem in modern publishing shared with me (Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen)
  6. Developing your book concepts: Book development workshops with your editor-mentors
  7. Book marketing and distribution workshops
  8. Meet the publishers (be introduced to a network of possible publishers); or develop a self-publishing business plan
  9. What makes a best-seller? A session with the book sellers, purchasers, bookstore managers and/or owners.
  10. Riding the coming tidal wave of digital books – getting your books published and sold on Amazon Kindle, iBooks, etc.
  11. The art of the Book Launch and other sales and promotional tools (offline and online). Plus lessons from author and marketing guru, Seth Godin.
  12. Your legacy – submission and readings of Manuscripts, finished books

(*sessions are subject to change. Assignments will also be given)

I’ve also invested about a decade of distilled time in researching, reading and keeping up to date in the publishing world. I have the benefit of also having mentoring moments with other successful publishers and authors like John Maxwell, Denis Waitley, Mark Victor Hansen, Tony Buzan, The Stanford University SPPC faculty and others.

But of course, I won’t ask you to pay P1.5M or spend a decade studying. The priceless knowledge and experience and network that I have developed will be shared with all Project Author 2.0 attendees at a small fraction of what it cost me.

Sign up today – very limited slots are available! All you have to do is to complete the requirements (details follow below).  You can also call 813-2703/32.
