Hope you’re having a great day so far.
Caveat: I received emails from some of you asking me,
“Sha how come I didn’t receive emails from you the past few weeks?”
Apologies, I wasn’t able to send my usual Monday emails the past few weeks because we got so busy with one online summit after another.
This week is going to be one of my busiest weeks but I decided to send this quick email to you anyway.
My message this week is simple:
In everything, ask yourself, “What value(s) am I learning from this? What values do I need to embrace to move forward?”
I am currently joining a coaching program these days. Every time I would talk to my coach, he would ask me,
“What are your wins today, Sha? What values are you learning from your wins?”
Then we would also talk about my current struggles. He would ask me the same thing. “What values are you learning from your struggles? What values will help you move forward?”
Here’s an example.
One of my wins was that I was able to spend time with my family last Nov 1-5. The values there are gratitude and love. I am grateful that I was able to spend time with my family. I felt so loved by my family and I love my family that’s why I went home to our province to spend time with them.
This week, my struggle is finding enough time to do all the preparations for our upcoming Global Authors Summit. The stress level is so high.
The values I am learning and the values I need to move forward are joy, trust, love, commitment, and creativity.
I’ll do everything with joy and love.
I trust God. I trust myself. I trust my team. I trust our suppliers. I trust our speakers. I trust that everything will turn out the best way.
I commit to doing what I need to do no matter how hard. I will also unleash my creativity in finding solutions to some problems.
Prior to the coaching program, the old me would be so stressed out. The new me is embracing the values I am learning and the values I need to move forward. It’s a shift in perspective and it’s making a big difference.
Last night, while my brother and I were having dinner, he said, “Sha, I noticed that you are more chill and relaxed these days amidst problems. I now understand. It’s because you believe 100% that things will turn out the best they would.”
He said this because he just attended the first part of the Trilogy program I attended. (In case you’re interested to know more about this program, text us at 0915-6229212. They have another schedule on November 12-13, 2019).
That’s it for now! 🙂
Enjoy this beautiful week!
Everything is working for your highest good.
I wish you love, joy, and peace!
