What is your word of the year?
Happy Tuesday! 🙂 How are you? Last Saturday, I attended the quarterly closed-door mastermind meeting with Bro. Bo Sanchez and the TrulyRichClub mentors. He led the group to annual planning. Here’s something I learned from him, as echoed by my friend Maan. Review your 2018 and list down the positive and negative things that happened to you. Then do more of the positive and less of the negative. I loved it because it’s pretty much the same with what we do. To make this year our best year ever, we need to write down our Gratitude and Gold. Gratitude means the blessings or the positive things that happened to us while Gold means the lessons you learned…

2018 Year In Review: Gratitude List
How are you? One of the habits I do on New Year’s Eve is to review how my year went and write down the blessings God has given me. In other words, I write down my gratitude list. I did the same for 2017 which I shared here. Gratitude. I love waking up in the morning thanking God for His goodness. On a daily basis, I have my own “Gratitude Party, Gratitude Walk, and Gratitude journal.” For 2018, I am so grateful with how God has blessed me. He has blessed me beyond my imagination. Truly, He is a God who loves us so much and who is faithful…

“After 9 years of working hard to love what I do, it’s time to finally do what I truly love and do it full time!!!Today, I am officially taking off my employee hat!” This was my Facebook status last 05 August 2013, a status that generated the most number of likes and comments among all my previous Facebook status updates. My decision to quit my job didn’t happen overnight. It was a result of years of finding my passion, honing it, and using it to serve others. Let me share with you a very personal story. A Christmas Story It was Christmas then and I could hear the happy…

Need Help Writing Your Book?
Hello Author! Yes, I’m talking to you my friend! 🙂 How does it feel to finally write your first book? They say that a book is the new calling card these days. Once you become an author, you’d be recognized as an expert. I started writing my first book in 2008 and I was only able to publish it in 2011. Quite long… But through those years, I’ve discovered the systematic way of writing a book. And so I wrote and published my 2nd book, and then my 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th book — all in a span of 18 months while working full…

The True Millionaire’s Prayer
Hi! How are you? 🙂 It’s been a month since I wrote an article here in Seminar Philippines. I missed writing. I missed communicating with you. Did you miss me too? 😛 I have a lot to share with you. Last April, I attended a 3-day Public Speaking Convention in Imperial Palace, Mactan, Cebu. The speakers included Darren Lacroix who’s the World Champion in Public Speaking, Dinah Loomis, and Dr. Shaukat Chandna, among others. Last May, I gave talks to Ardy Roberto’s Project Author Class…

Be Aggressive yet Loving and Gentle
It was October 2008 when I first attended the Feast in Valle Verde. It was also my first time to see Bo Sanchez in person. Star struck was an understatement. I was awed at his skill in speaking. After listening to his talk, I felt rejuvenated. He had a cheerful disposition, a breath of fresh air. His message that day was about being aggressive yet loving and gentle. By being aggressive, he didn’t mean being rude, nor boastful, nor pushy, nor violent. He defined aggressive by presenting the 7 Laws of Aggressiveness. The 7 Laws of Aggressiveness 1) The Law of Clarity One should be very clear…

What Are You Willing to Give Up?
Last Monday, our theme for our Toastmasters‘ meeting was “Giving Up“. For a while, I wondered why our VP for Education came up with the theme on Giving Up. I smiled as I realized the theme was very timely for the Holy Week. As Christians and as Catholics, we are encouraged to take this season to fast, to pray more, to love more, to reflect… Bo Sanchez, the Founder and Leader of the Light of Jesus Community, wrote an eBook called 7 Days of Prayer and Fasting which you may download for free here . His mission is: We want to grow closer to God and receive all…

I Met the Maid Who Invests in the Stock Market
As promised, I’m going to share with you my notes during the Truly Rich Club Wealth Summit 2013. During the Wealth Summit, I met a number of inspiring people. I met Ivy Dela Cruz, a simple and humble woman who was once a sales lady. As a sales lady, she only had one uniform which she had to wash every night so she could use again the next day. This she did for the next four years! Today, *please read this carefully* her monthly income is equal to the yearly income of some managers. I was star struck to finally meet The Maid Who Invests in the Stock Market! Her…
