Crash Landing on You and Covid-19
Happy Thursday! How are you?
Hope you are well.
If you check social media and the news these days, the topic is all about Covid.
I heard that a lot of offices now are encouraging their teams to work from home, which is really good.
Some employees may not be lucky because of the layoffs that are happening.
Entrepreneurs are also experiencing a decline in their profits because of covid.
I, as a speaker, have also experienced having several events in the Philippines, Africa, and the Maldives canceled/postponed due to covid.
This is not the time to panic. So in this short email, I’d like to share five powerful ways to deal with Covid.
1. Combat fear with GRATITUDE and Prayer.
Is fear creeping in? Turn to gratitude and prayer. Find things you can be grateful for. Be grateful for your health. Be grateful you and your family are safe. Be grateful for the scientists who are finding a cure for covid…. and so on.
Here’s a powerful and uplifting video for global speaker Brenda Bence as regards a surprising antidote to fear. It’s only 3 minutes and 14 seconds long.
2. Stay HEALTHY.
At this time, it’s really important to take good care of our health.
It’s the best we can do for the world.
One of the best ways to stay healthy is to stay home and avoid crowds.
Plus, take your vitamins and supplements, sleep well, and get some sun.
Let’s also pray for all the medical practitioners who risk their lives to treat those who have covid.
3. Now is the best time to think about your business/profession.
If you’re in business, how is your business doing? Now is the best time to rethink to covid-proof your business. What can you do differently? What needs to change?
How’s your work? Is your current work something you really like doing? If not, then what are you really passionate about?
Then make some small, concrete actions to turn things around and get you to the direction where you want to go.
4. Have some fun and watch Crash Landing on You
I just finished watching all 16 episodes of Koreanovela Crash Landing on You (CLOY). I remember, I was in our province for a short vacation a few days ago and I slept at 3:30 am so I could finish the remaining episodes. Lol.
I don’t encourage you to sleep late like I did, hehe! It just meant that CLOY was so good, even a disciplined person like myself had to bend my sleeping habit for one night because I couldn’t tune out from the KDrama.
I rarely watch Koreanovela these days. The last time I binge-watched was about 10 years ago. But CLOY is different. It’s so good and I highly recommend it.
The side effect though is that you may experience a little bit of sepanx (separation anxiety) once the show is over and it may take days before you can get over Capt. Ri.
5. Write a Book
Is there a passion project you’ve been meaning to do? Perhaps you want to write a book?
With events being canceled, now you have more time to work on that passion project of yours.
If one of your passion projects is to write a book, this is the best time to do it.
If you don’t know where to start, these free eBooks and videos may help you.

I wish you love, joy, and peace today and every day!
