I’m so grateful for you! :)

Happy Tuesday! 🙂 Hope you’re having a beautiful week so far.

THANK YOU!

I’m writing this short article to say, THANK YOU!

Thank you for being part of my life.

Thank you for reading my articles.

Thank you for being you.

Last Saturday, I celebrated my birthday. Every time I celebrate my birthday, I engage my friends and my team and we think of doing something special. In my previous birthdays, we’ve had seminars-for-a cause, and so on.

This year, we had the World Gratitude Summit, an online summit wherein I interviewed some of the world’s experts when it comes to gratitude. It was a two-day online summit participated by 1,955 people from more than 30 countries. Were you part of it as well? 🙂 If not, don’t worry, you can catch the VIP All Access Pass here http://bit.ly/WorldGratitudeSummitVIP

On my birthday, I felt so loved. I received bouquet of flowers, cards, cakes, balloons, thoughtful gifts, phone calls, and over a thousand greetings via email, sms, Facebook, IG, Linked In, whatsapp, skype, viber, and so on. Up to today, I am still not done thanking everyone. Lol 🙂

I hosted a little party in our little home. I only invited around 10 of my closest friends. My brother and I also invited a priest to bless our condo on my birthday. I wish I could invite more friends but my little home can only accommodate a few people. (If you want to celebrate with me, I’m just an email/text away).

Here’s my favorite photo on my birthday. This is me and my friend’s daughter Z. Z is also my God daughter.

Thank you

I have 3 simple messages for you.

1. Appreciate who you are. Love who you are — with all your strengths and weaknesses. Love yourself and appreciate yourself not only when you do good, but also when you are at your lowest point.

As I mature in age, I realize that my needs get simpler and simpler. I also realized that simple things make me happy –things like playing with kids, laughing with friends, saying “I love you” to my Papa and hearing him say “I love you” also, the ability to smile, drinking water, walking and breathing, and so on. And I really appreciate that about me. 🙂

2. Know your love language.

My love language is more of quality time, followed by words. I’m not really into gifts. But on my birthday, I made two wishes as regards gifts I wanted to receive. I told God, “God, I want to receive a bouquet of flowers and my favorite cake from Purple Oven.”

And God answered my wishes. Since I’m still single (and available, hehe), He sent beautiful friends Ditas and Kitch to give me a bouquet of flowers. And Kitch and her husband Kylo gifted me with my favorite chocolate cake from Purple Oven. (I didn’t tell my friends to give me these. Prayers work! What a gift! 🙂

3. Allow yourself to be vulnerable.

It takes a lot of courage to show who you really are. I cry to my brother from time to time and I believe this made our bond stronger as siblings. Recently, I attended a seminar where I was vulnerable in front of 60 people. It was scary, but liberating at the same time.

Allow yourself to be vulnerable.

Okay, since you are part of my Monday email intimate group, I’d like to be vulnerable to you.

Here it goes….

For our next special event in Nov 2019, I’ll upgrade my prayer and say, “God, I want to receive a bouquet of flowers and a handwritten letter from a good man who would be my husband.”

How about you? Is there something you’d like to share with me that allows you to be vulnerable?

Enjoy this week!

Cheers,

Sha Nacino

P.S. Regarding the VIP All Access Pass for the World Gratitude Summit, these were some of the questions I asked the speakers:

How can gratitude help people with mental health issues?

What is the best way to deal with insecurity?

How can we intentionally and purposefully live in the now?

How do you move on from a difficult heart break?

“How can you love yourself more?”

and so on
