How Do You Spend Your Saturdays?
How are you? ๐
“Every blessing that we need is already available to us.” – Bo Sanchez
Do you believe in that quote?
I was intrigued when I heard that from Bro. Bo Sanchez.
I asked myself.
If it’s true that every blessing we need is already available to us, then why is it that some people are rich while some are poor?
Why is it that some people are successful while some are not?
Why is it that some people are happy and some are not?
It would take me centuries to find answers to those questions. (Okay, I’m exaggerating but it felt that long).
Here’s the answer I got:
Because some people see the opportunities and act on them while others do not.
True, isn’t it?
There are so many opportunities around us. Opportunities to grow as a person. Opportunities to meet the people who could mentor us. Opportunities to serve people and get paid for it. Opportunities to spread happiness and be happy as well.
Sometimes though, (or maybe most of the time), we cannot see these opportunities.
Thus, it’s so important to train our eyes to see these opportunities, act on them, and receive our blessings.
The Secret of Successful People
Tonight, I realized there’s one more thing that would help us succeed in our chosen endeavors.
It is the answer to this question:ย How do you use your time?
Maybe during the week, many of us would spend it at work.
How about weekends? ย How do you spend your weekends?
How do you spend your Saturdays? ๐
Your answers to the questions above will determine the level of success and happiness you will achieve.
This Saturday, take time to answer those questions. Better yet, write down the list of the exciting and productive activities you want to engage in every Saturday.
Please share your list in the comments.ย
I wish you success and happiness!

Rhomie Arnold E. Odoya
Hi Ms. Sha, good morning!
My name is Engr. Rhomie Arnold E. Odoya and my passion is farming. Although I’m currently employed in a sugar manufacturing company, I am busy on Saturdays developing my 5-hectare farm into a profitable venture. My dream is to someday retire from employment (I’m 47 years old now)and have my income coming from this venture. With GOD’s blessing and guidance, I will retire 3 years from now, and my income from this venture will be more than what I’m receiving right now from my employment. This is just to share my thoughts on how I spend my Saturdays.
Btw, I’m interested to attend one of your seminars but I’m based here in Davao City. Do you have plans to conduct seminars here in Davao City? I hope you do. Maybe there are also others like me in Davao City who are interested to attend.
Salamat and GOD bless,
Rhomie

Hi Sha, thanks for your posts, they are quite helpful. But I believe you need a change of perspective and I would humbly disagree with this recent post.
Yes, it is true that every blessing we need is already available to us. But to equate blessings to being rich, happy and successful just by grabbing opportunities, I feel, is an insult to all people who are suffering for no apparent reason. Let me remind you of some: orphaned children in Syria, drought sufferers in Africa, slave laborers in Ivory Coast, heck even people in the Philippines who live under $1 a day.
Are they just too lazy to grab opportunities? Are they too blind to see them? I don’t think so.
I would definitely recommend that you read Ecclesiastes and I hope it gives you the insight that you need to grow and keep on helping other people. Thanks.
