3 P’s to Make Your Dreams Come True
Happy Monday!
“I am so excited to launch my book at The Feast PICC today!”
I’ve been writing that down in my journal everyday for the past 2 years. I wrote it as if it’s already happening. Yesterday, October 29. 2017, the dream became a reality. I launched my latest book on career titled Is it Time to Quit Your Job? :A Guide Before Making that Big Career Shift to a group of over 10,000 people. It was a surreal experience to be able to give back and share my masterpiece to the community (The Feast) that has blessed me so much.
While waiting for my turn to speak on stage, my friend Velden Lim (author of Bakit Single ka pa rin), I, and Bro. Bo Sanchez were chatting. That experience was priceless. Bro. Bo then said, “Okay, let’s take a picture and I’ll post it in my IG and FB).
I’m sharing my joy with you because you are a part of it.
Today, I’d like to share with you a powerful strategy that my mentor mentor Brian Tracy taught me which led me to that day when I finally launched my book in PICC.
He said and I’m paraphrasing, “If if you want to achieve your dreams, write them down everyday and write them using 3 P’s — Personal, Positive, Present tense.”
In other words, write your dreams as if they were already happening. As you write your dreams, feel it as if you are already achieving it.
That’s why, everyday, I would write down my dreams using 3 P’s. One of these dreams was,
“I am so excited to launch my book at The Feast PICC today!”
That’s why I was ecstatic when it finally happened. I prepared for this dream for so long that yesterday, I made sure I was there with my entourage. 😀 My best friend Trix joined me in attending the first session. Then I had Jem and Yana as admin assistants for the day, Caryl as my PA, Mich as my hair-and-make-up artist, and Jacob, Pierre, and Regi as my video/photo team. That’s from my team. My publisher had a team of more than 10 people who manned the book table. I was over prepared. Hehe! But that’s because that was how much I valued that experience.
So today, I’d like to encourage you to write down your dreams using 3 P’s.
