She Wrote Her Book in 90 Days, Launched It, and Now She’s Being Invited as a Speaker

Sometime in December 2014, I visited a Toastmasters club (I belong to a different toastmasters club) wherein I was invited as a General Evaluator. Toastmasters is a public speaking organisation. I’ve been part of this organisation since 2007 and it has helped me develop my communication and leadership skills.
I was seated next to someone I met for the very first time. We exchanged Hi’s and we briefly introduced ourselves to each other. I learned that she wanted to write her own book. I shared with her that I’m conducting a 90-Day Book Writing Challenge that will start on January 2015. She expressed her interest to join the challenge.
90 days later, she finished writing her first book! Here’s the exciting part: Last June 6, 2015, she launched her first book titled #SoWorthIt.

Hi, Sha.
Thank you for inviting me to join the 90-Day Book-Writing Challenge. I have always dreamed of becoming a published author. After joining the 90-Day Book-Writing Challenge, I have learned so many things about how to get my book out there to the public. Prior to joining this course, I used to just wonder how it would be to have my book published. I didn’t take any steps towards making my dream a reality, because I didn’t know where or how to start.
Through the 90-Day Book-Writing Challenge, I was able to self-publish my book, and experience what it’s like to be an author in the June 6 Book Launch. Not only was it a lot of fun; it was also very inspiring and empowering to know that this dream of mine could become a reality.
It has only been a little over a week after the book launch, and my book isn’t even available in the major bookstores, but I have already been receiving wonderful feedback about my book, and how it has also inspired my readers. I’ve also had people from at least 2 companies approach me and tell me that they’re planning to invite me as a guest speaker. Just last Friday, I was also a guest at DZIQ 990AM Inquirer Radio’s show Voice of the Youth Radio.
