What do Bo Sanchez, Francis Kong, and Brian Tracy have in common

What do Bo Sanchez, Francis Kong, and Brian Tracy have in common?

Now hold that thought for moment.

It’s 6:30am as I am writing this. As of this writing, I’ve already read the readings for today from Companion, Sabbath, and Didache. I’m also done with my morning prayers. Done re-telling God about my dreams and goals. I’ve already written down the things I am grateful for as soon as I woke up. And I’m done doing some simple stretching and walking exercises.

It feels sooooo good to wake up at 5am! Thanks to my Accountability Partner, my brother!

If you want to get things done faster and better, you have to get an Accountability Partner! That’s the secret! 🙂

I have so many Accountability Partners in the different aspects of my life. One of them is Bro. Bo Sanchez.

It was April 2013. I was in Tagaytay for Bo Sanchez’s four-Day Bestselling Authors Bootcamp. He invited me to speak on eBook Publishing. The other speakers were Rissa Singson-Kawpeng, Atty. Alex Lacson, and Ardy Roberto (husband of Miriam Quiambao), among others.

At the end of the 4-Day Bootcamp, Bro. Bo asked all the participants to write down on a piece of paper the titles of the books they wanted to write.

I didn’t write a book title. I wrote, The Complete Online Course on Book Writing and Book Publishing.

I showed it to Bro. Bo. He nodded his head and said, “Go, Sha!”

After a few weeks, Bro. Bo and I were talking about something via email. Then he suddenly asked me, “Sha, how’s the Book Writing Course you were putting up?”

Whoa! My thought bubble was, “Uh oh! Bro. Bo, how could you remember? And how could I have forgotten about it?!”You see, when I got back to Manila after the Bestselling Authors Bootcamp, I sat down and I started to brainstorm how to put up the course. That was my first time to design a course! How do I design the modules? How do I deliver the course? What should I discuss?

That’s when I realised putting up the course on book writing and book publishing would require too much time, energy, and effort. I was still employed then. I didn’t have that much time to spare.

A few weeks later, Bro. Bo and I bumped into each other again in his Successful Speakers’ Bootcamp. We engaged in a conversation and he asked me again, “Sha, how’s the book writing course that you were putting up?

From time to time, Bro. Bo would ask how’s the course was doing. Every time he’d pop that question, I’d be reminded to work on the course and stay committed to finishing it.

We would exchange emails. I would show him my plans and the draft of the modules. He would comment on them. I would tweak them. This went on for months. And years.

Finally, after about two years, I showed him the course, and he said, “Very good, Sha!”

That seal of approval from him gave me the boost to launch The 90-Day Book Writing Challenge1.0 on January 2015.

On June 2015, we had our first How to Write a Book Seminar Plus Book Launch 1.0 and 5 authors launched their books.

On June 2016, we had our How to Write a Book Seminar Plus Book Launch 2.0 and 11 authors launched their books!

The 90-Day Book Writing Challenge worked! And it’s working!

Thank God for giving me Bro. Bo Sanchez as my “Accountability Partner” while I was putting up the course! If it weren’t for his constant follow-ups, encouragement, and valuable comments, The 90-Day Book Writing Challenge would have remained a dream that never materialised!

That’s the power of having an Accountability Partner. Later on, he even went the extra mile of promoting it in his social media accounts.

Now back to our question.

What do Bo Sanchez, Francis Kong, and Brian Tracy have in common?

Answer: They are among the highest-paid motivational speakers!
And they are all authors!

Did you see the correlation? Of course, there are many other things that made them some of the highest paid motivational speakers but their books played a BIG role.

Bro. Bo Sanchez even wrote an article called Why You Should Write a Book Check out his Reason #4!

Just a side note.

Brian Tracy was also my mentor and he wrote a review for my eBook “How to Make Your Dreams Come True.”

“This book shows you how to unlock your full potential for successful living.” – Brian Tracy

But how does one make money from writing a book? Is there really money in writing books?

Some earn hundreds of thousands or even millions of pesos from book sales. Some authors don’t make money from book sales.

Some of those who don’t make money from book sales make money from other opportunities brought about by their books. For example, when you become a published author, you can become a paid speaker. Sometimes, the income you get from selling 100 books could be equivalent to the professional fee you get from giving a one hour talk.

Five years after I published my first book (plus other books), I quit my job and I now write books and give talks full time. And if you ask me, is there money in book writing?

Let me answer it this way.

I don’t need to go back to employment anymore because the financial rewards plus the emotional fulfilment I experience as an author and a speaker far outweigh what I had in my previous work.

Ultimately, money is a symbol of value. If your book gives value to the readers, it will pay off 🙂

Since the launch of The 90-Day Book Writing Challenge, I’ve received positive comments from first-time authors who were able to write their books in 90 days and therefore ticked off an item in their bucket list!

Being an author has always been my dream since I was a child. But that dream took a backseat when I became busy with schooling, career, and marrried life.

Until few months ago, I received an email invitation to join Sha Nacino’s 90-day Book Writing Course.  I had too many excuses not to join and one of the most compelling one was that I didn’t know how I will ever find the time to write a book out of my already hectic schedule.

But without thinking twice, I enrolled in Sha Nacino’s 90-day Book Writing Course.Indeed, it was one of the best decisions I have done in my life.  I cannot imagine finally authoring and self-publishing my book, It’s Okay to be Kuripot, if I never enrolled in Sha Nacino’s book writing course.

Sha provided us, first-time authors, with easy-to-follow steps from day 1 until we had our books published. Sha made book writing seem very easy even if most of us were not “born writers.”

Kristene Barrias-Rupisan
Author, It’s Okay to be Kuripot

Just like Kristene, I can teach you how to write a book in 90 days…even if you’re not a writer and even if you are busy in your job or business. I can be your Accountability Partner.

But you need to act fast. Because time is running out.

I wish you success and happiness!
