Happy Love Month!

Happy Monday! How are you? January flew by so fast.
Last month, so many things happened in Australia, the Philippines, China, the U.S. and the rest of the world.

My two realizations last week were:

First, “We get affected by our environment and what we focus on.”

Last Thursday afternoon and Friday morning, I was so immersed in social media and in checking updates about the novel coronavirus.

As a result, I got scared to even go out of the house.

I did something crazy last Friday. I canceled all my appointments simply because I didn’t have a mask and alcohol!

Since we get affected by our environment and what we focus on, it’s important to be disciplined in what we read, see, hear, or immerse ourselves into.

For my part, I decided to pray more and veer away from social media in the meantime.

I know what measures to take to stay safe and healthy and I don’t need to see the same news over and over again.

Second, “We are all connected. We feel what others feel.”

I cried when I learned about Kobe Bryant, his daughter, and his companions.

To think I was not even a fan of basketball and I’ve never watched any of his games.

Indeed, we are all connected. We feel what others feel.

As you read this, please send loving thoughts and prayers to Vanessa Bryant and the families of those affected.

We can lift them through our prayers and our thoughts.

Hello, February!

Thank God it’s a brand new month. It’s LOVE month! 🙂

This love month, I wish love, joy, and peace to reign in your heart.

May you feel so loved like you’ve never felt before.

Sometimes, the Love Month can be quite challenging especially for single people.

I’m single, I can relate. Haha!

But remember, love doesn’t only mean romantic love.

It could also mean love for God, for your family, for your friends, for your work, for your passion.

There’s one love that is so important for all of us — self love.

Today, and especially this love month, may you experience a happy and healthy self-love.

It was in January 2019 when I learned the concept of self-love. I am so grateful to Brig. Sushil Bhasin of India for incorporating self-love in his talk for speakers during the speakers’ convention in India. 🙂 So in a way, I just celebrated my first anniversary of really LOVING MYSELF a few days ago. 🙂 Woohoo!

If the concept of self-love is new to you, start by making loving yourself a priority. Speak kindly to yourself. Be gentle with yourself. Say “I love you” to yourself many times a day. Make time to do things that make you happy. Sleep well. Get some exercise. Love yourself with all your strengths and flaws and weaknesses.

Here’s me sending love your way.

Cheers,

Sha Nacino

P.S.1 My brother March launched his youtube vlog and uploaded his first video. Here, he talked about how he started the habit of waking up at 5:00am everyday. For him to do that, he decided to do Facebook LIVE everyday. He did so for the next 120 days. Amazing!

He asked me to do a cameo role for his first video. I was laughing out loud watching the video. Hahaha! If you want to be inspired and to laugh at the same time, this video is for you! 🙂 Enjoy the short video here. Please subscribe! 🙂

P.S.2 I received emails asking if we can extend the registration to The 90-Day Book Writing Challenge. Yes, we can. You can still register until February 7. Register here https://seminarphilippines.lpages.co/bwc-2020/ Online classes will start on Feb 10.
