Your Greatest Asset! (Hint: It’s not Money)
I’ll keep this article short and sweet! 🙂
Next month will be my birth month. I’m turning 30! Haha! Time flies! 🙂
I want to do something really special this coming October. It’s something that most of you have requested from me in the past. I’ve been wanting to do it but I got so busy that time. Well, the wait is over! I’m so excited! 🙂
Something BIG is happening on October 12, 2013 from 8:00am-12:00nn. Please mark your calendars! I’ll post more details next week!
Meanwhile, let me ask you this question:
What is your greatest asset (aside from your relationship with God, family, and friends)?
Through the years, I realized that our greatest asset is not the money we have in the bank, nor our possessions, nor our investments.
It was Brian Tracy who said that your greatest asset is your earning ability. In other words, your greatest asset is YOURSELF.
To illustrate the importance of earning ability, let’s take into consideration Donald Trump.
Donald is one of the wealthiest men in the world. But at one point in his life, he incurred a debt of USD900M! He became so poor that when he saw a beggar on the street, he said. “This beggar is richer than I am.”
Yet, look at where Donald Trump is today. His earning ability enabled him to earn back what he lost, and much more! He’s the man behind NBC reality show The Apprentice.
No matter what happens to the economy, your bank accounts, and your properties (considering the floods we’re experiencing in the country today), your earning ability will determine how soon you will bounce back.
No matter how broke you may be right now, your earning ability will determine how soon you can rise above your situation.
The best way to increase your earning ability is to invest in yourself.
As my mentor Bo Sanchez would say, “Before you grow your finances, you should grow yourself first.” He says we should invest in ourselves — in our education — rather than on things.
I invite you to invest in your greatest asset — YOURSELF! Read books. Attend seminars. Seek mentors.
I wish you success and happiness!

yes SHA, i believe that before we grow our finances, w e need to grow our self first, invest in our self, invest in our minds, attend seminars, and reading more books, that what i did now, because I believe in saying that ” What you are doing now is preparation for your future”. As of now i’m a seaman but i have a passion on internet, i wanna be, speaker and author, hopefully one day i can attend your workshop how to write a book. God bless and more power.
